As more people were at home more often over the last year, increases in grid stress and pressure on the power lines has raised concerns about high voltage issues within many of the older transformers on power lines and planning to avoid many of the associated problems has led to the provision of government subsidies directly to homeowners as an incentive to help create more local sources of renewable energy.
To assist with the providing of information and general guidance with assessments and signup, the sustainability and social entrepreneurship not-for-profit organization ReJews has now redirected its focus to help homeowners across 11 states determine their eligibility!
Not only capable of providing families with both a more secure power supply and automatically lower electricity bills, but a number of municipalities have also established generous tax credit programs that offer thousands of dollars in tax relief to encourage more people to sign up for the zero-cost programs, which include installation at no cost to homeowners, ever.
As participation eligibility depends on shading, the direction of sunrise/mizrach, amount of electricity used, and the shape and size of the home, only 40% of roofs qualify.
