I am a San Francisco local; born, raised and filled with city pride.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science and Fitness from San Francisco State University in 2005.
I then worked for five years at the Marin YMCA as the Director of Cardiac Therapy and Wellness during which time I received a Masters in Public Administration for Health Care Services from the University of San Francisco.
I moved on from the YMCA in 2011 to spend five wonderful years as Associate Business Manager for Senior Services division of Jewish Family and Children’s Services.
Having found my true passion in clinical based case management, I returned to the University of San Francisco and graduated with a Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2016.
I completed a yearlong traineeship with the USF Center for Child and Family Development working at Mercy High School where I discovered how much I adored working with teens.
I began my post-graduate internship work worked as a primary and family therapist intern with Paradigm San Francisco, an adolescent residential dual diagnosis treatment home. I ran daily groups, multi-family groups and milleu-therapy for adolescents ages 12 to 18years old.
I have also done published academic research work as an assistant with the Gay Couples Institute of San Francisco.
I find my lives work deeply profound and impactful. I am honored to continue my education and personal growth for my clients and my own therapeutic journey.

The horse facilities therapy opening space for healing, attachment, leadership empowerment and mediative soothing. It is nothing short of magic however there is also valuable research to support the validity of this modality of therapy.
