Behar Construction, Co. has more than 20 years of experience in the field of contracting and it has successfully completed over 100 major projects, as listed in our project’s profile. Past contracts have included work for School Board of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Miami-Dade Community College, the Cities of Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Davie and Pembroke Pines, Miami-Dade County, Ft. Lauderdale, U.S. Postal Services, the Venezuelan government and other private institutions that has a variety of restaurants, country clubs hotels and interior renovation projects.
What are your current projects?
We are also designing and building a chain of award winning Italian restaurants called Primo Pastificio from Brazil. In Doral, Di Piu Manufacturing Corporation is a pasta factory that we are designing. Our latest restaurant DIRT in Mary Brickell Village is doing well. Last year we finished Vicky’s House. An 80’s themed milkshake bar by the owner of Lokal. We also did The Spillover by Lokal. A seafood rendition of his successful burger restaurants. The restaurants that we have built have become some of the hottest restaurants in South Florida and have come out all over the news and social media. Furthermore, we are collaborating with our repeat restaurant client Matt Kuscher the owner of Kush, Lokal, Vicky’s House, Spillover, and Stephan's on future restaurants. We also just finished designing Stephan's and the latest Mojo Donuts in South Miami.
How do you describe your design/construction services?
In understanding the affiliation of design and construction services into one design/build entity, Behar Construction, Co. having served as the central core of responsibilities in previous design/build teams, has the experience to collaborate with all disciplines of this required task.
The relationship and responsibilities of a Design/Builder begin when assuming the procurement of the design and construction of the work in conformity with the Owner's designs criteria documents. The Design/Builder's architect will develop the project's concept; scope, design and specifications based on the owner's design criteria documents. During the construction phase, the design professionals for the Design/Build, acts as the representative in charge of assuring that construction will be compliance with the plans and specification.
