Florida Shavous Retreat to Feature Rabbi Shais Taub, Chazzan Aryeh Leib Hurwitz
Agam Kosher Resort is excited to announce that world renowned speaker, teacher and author, Rabbi Shais Taub will be joining the all-star lineup at the Shavous Retreat as the scholar in residence.
Rabbi Shais Taub who also directs the Torah website SoulWords.org, will be accompanied by Rabbi Pinny Andrusier, dynamic spiritual leader of Chabad SW Broward and Rabbi Shmuly Hurwitz, Content Direct for JEM (Jewish Education Media).
Focusing on the special theme of Hakhel and the Shavuos festival, the esteemed rabbis and other guest lecturers will offer thought-provoking lectures for men, women and teens throughout the course of the holiday. The traditional ‘all-night’ learning session being planned for Thursday evening, May 25, is sure to leave one-and-all deeply inspired and spellbound.
Another highlight of the Shavuos retreat is world-renowned chazzan Aryeh Leib Hurwitz, who will be leading the davening. Hurwitz’s use of popular melodies during the services and meals is sure to add tremendous joy to the festive holiday. Recognized as an acclaimed tenor, Hurwitz’s thunderous voice and familiar tunes will offer nourishment for the ear and neshama.
